Compassionate, Hopeful & Relational Support for Mothers through Matrescence & Beyond
What is Matrescence?
Matrescence is the transition into motherhood. It is the profound, lifelong becoming that begins in pregnancy, or whenever a child enters your life.
Similar to adolescence, it reshapes everything at once: your body, your identity, your relationships, your sense of time, and the way you see yourself and the world. It can bring joy and grief in the same breath, along with a feeling of losing who you were while not yet knowing who you're becoming.
Matrescence isn't a disorder or something to fix. It's a major developmental shift that deserves care, language, and company.
Building Together
As a mother of three with over 8 years of experience supporting families and children, I bring both professional expertise and a personal understanding to this work. I don’t have it all figured out, but I do know how necessary compassionate and competent support is.
Perinatal Mental Health
The term perinatal refers to the time prior, during or after the birth of a child. Perinatal mental health addresses an array of issues such as mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, loss, bonding, relationship stress, transitions and identity confusion. I support women as they navigate this period and beyond.
A foundational part of my work is helping women learn to put themselves first in healthy, sustainable ways—not out of guilt or obligation but simply because they are deserving. When mother’s are supported, communities thrive. Together we begin the beautiful and complex work of healing. This healing becomes the foundation to begin building a life rooted in your values and unique strengths.
Eating Disorders
Healing your relationship with food and body is possible—and you don't have to do it alone. A woman’s body changes a long the way and these changes can trigger unhealthy relationships with food and ourselves. Your body is your first home and together we will learn how to make it a safe place again. I offer a compassionate, judgment-free space to support you at every stage of recovery.
Parenting Support
Parenting changes you. It’s both rewarding and extremely hard. The therapy space allows parents to process their own history so they can clear a new path for their children with greater clarity and confidence. I work with parents towards supporting their relationship with their child and one another. Working as a team, I help clients parent with more awareness, connection, and authenticity.

Why Clay?
Clay is known for it’s plasticity: it’s ability to be molded into different shapes for various uses and forms of artistic expression.
Therapy works in a similar way. Our brains have the ability to shift, adapt, and evolve to meet the demands of their environments. The science is hopeful: we change, we grow, we recalibrate.
The work is messy, demanding, and always moving.
In deciding to do the deeper work, you decide to begin making something unique and purposeful, out of what you may have thought was no more than a cluster of symptoms, a deeply rooted trauma, or the chaos of family dynamics.
It is beautiful to witness what clients create in themselves when they are given a held space and an honest sounding board.
At the end, we step back and marvel at their handiwork together.
